A young man from Nazareth was arrested this weekend (Saturday) at the end of a police chase after driving without a license on Route 79, from the Shafram area towards the main interchange.
This, after he was recently released from an 18-month prison sentence that he served due to convictions for multiple traffic offenses.
The policemen said that they told the driver to stop for an inspection, and the fleeing driver began to drive fast towards Highway 77 in the direction of the Golani interchange.
They also said that the driver was stopped only after 20 kilometers, between the Turan local council and the Golani interchange, after policemen from the Kfar Kana station set up a roadblock on the road.
The documentation shows the driver running away from the police at high speed, zigzagging between lanes, until he was stopped at the police checkpoint.
