Caregivers at Necker Hospital in Paris had to deal with a puzzling case at the start of last week when they cared for a baby who had taken drugs, according to information from Le Parisien, confirmed

The child was originally admitted due to illness.
After carrying out several tests, the doctors finally discovered that the child was positive for cocaine thanks to urine tests.

After a report from the hospital, the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation entrusted to the Brigade for the protection of minors of the Paris judicial police.
The child's father, a 30-something unknown to the police according to Le

, was sentenced on Thursday March 30 to three months' imprisonment suspended on probation for two years for "removing a parent from his parental obligations endangering the health of the child,” the prosecution told Le
