A ranking shows the best cities in Europe for cinema fans and Nuremberg is a Franconian city in the top ten.
Another Bavarian city was also able to secure one of the top spots.

lists the best European cities for cinema fans in its own ranking.
With Nuremberg and Munich, two Bavarian cities made it into the top ten.
The portal created the list using data from Google Maps.
In February this year, 345 European cities with at least ten cinemas were examined.
In order to compare the figures, the average ratings of the cinemas per 10,000 inhabitants were used as a basis.
The list does not include cities with fewer than ten cinemas.
Cinecitta and Admiral Filmpalast: Nuremberg is high up in the ranking of the best cinema cities in Europe
Nuremberg is ninth on the list.
However, Holidu
only wrote about the top five spots and why the cities are so good for cinema fans.
Nuremberg has an unusually high density of cinemas per inhabitant.
The Cinecitta, one of the largest multiplex cinema centers in Europe, can be found in the second largest city in Bavaria.
23 halls, an Imax cinema and the largest 3D screen in the world are part of Cinecittas, as are the popcorn and soft drinks for the visit.

But Nuremberg has more cinemas to offer than just the Cinecitta.
The Admiral Filmpalast, which shows a wide range of films in its own cinemas, can be found in the pedestrian passage in Nuremberg's city centre.
In the arthouse cinema Meisengeige and the Casablanca, classics and art films are regularly shown on the screens.

From Munich to Naples: The best cinemas in Europe in the ranking
Berlin has secured third place on the list of the best, followed by Munich, a second city from Bavaria, in fifth place.
The holiday home portal highlights the diversity and selection of cinemas in Munich.
Larger cinemas can be found in the city with the Cineplex and Cinemaxx, but film fans also have the opportunity to see cult classics on the screens of the Monopol Kino and City Kino.
As part of the Munich Film Festival, international genre films are shown in Munich's cinemas every year.

According to the holiday home portal, Geneva is the best city in Europe for cinema fans.
Warsaw follows in second place.
At the bottom of the list is Naples in 50th place.
