Denise Di Paolo (27) trained at a well-known GBA Western dance school. She also recorded a video clip with Duki.

Since she started taking dance classes at Haedo at the age of 12, the life of Denise Di Paolo (27) has become more and more challenging.

After 15

very hard years of preparation

and starting from below, she fulfilled the dream of getting to dance with figures that she idolizes: in her still young professional career she has already worked with Tini Stoessel, Luis Fonsi, Emilia Mernes and Duki, with whom she recorded several video clips .

Denu, as everyone knows her, says that much of what she is achieving is due to the "excellent professional training" she received in a neighborhood studio, with teachers who progressively marked her career: among them she especially mentions Delfi García Escudero,

former dancer of

Marcelo Tinelli's Dancing for a Dream and also a neighbor of Haedo and Laura Braga, the director of the B"Way Street studio where she took her first steps.

The path from those initial halls, just two blocks from the Sarmiento train station, to the public exhibition that involves dancing with great figures was not easy.

She says that everything turned out to be

quite dizzying

since she began to teach and perform in shows in the City of Buenos Aires organized by the Haedo dance school.

There, at these events, she caught the attention of other teachers and important choreographers who soon began to call her for some of their projects.

Word of mouth in the new Buenos Aires environment did its thing.

And the great quality that he showed with his steps and his expressiveness, much more.

This is how, through auditions and a lot of rehearsals, he began international tours, nothing more and nothing less than for Tini Stoessel's "Got me started tour" in Europe, in 2017. It was like touching the sky with your hands.

With the "triple T" he toured Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, and ended in Mar del Plata.

"Professionally, they are very hard-working people, colleagues, they are attentive and aware that we are comfortable. It is a refuge to work with them," says the dancer about the intimacy of working with established artists.

The tours are usually intense and incredible: "Sometimes the pace is frantic in this profession. Some believe that we have time to walk. There are tours that allow you to do so, others don't. Although it depends on how our pace is, in general we take advantage of those

moments to sleep

", tells about his travels through Argentina and around the world as part of one of the staff that he integrates.

One of his last big events was with Emilia Mernes, in Viña del Mar, Chile.

Her choreographer is Matías Napp, a renowned coach from the Tinelli program, who also "couched" Duki.

"

It was incredible and expeditious

. We were 6 dancers and suddenly we had to be 12. Mati, our

choreographer, found out that all those changes had to be made when he was in the middle of his vacations, which he hadn't taken for 15 years,

" he recalls.

And he adds, "We solved a part of the show with his assistant and a little bit of my help. A few days before the show he joined, to fulfill his role as a dancer. We rehearsed a whole week morning and night, to full. In between, giving classes and each one doing things. The Saturday that we had to travel we rehearsed in the afternoon and at night, until 12. At 3 in the morning we had to board the plane".

Within this frenetic rhythm in which they had only slept 1 hour, upon reaching the city where they had to perform, they made two general passes with the presence of Emilia: "When we finished, we went back to the hotel, we took a shower and

slept until 8 in the morning, to go to sound check

", reveals the little frantic moments that he had to live.

Having already done the sound check, he clarifies: "We have to stay until the time of the show, which was around 2 in the morning. Because the details of makeup, costumes, positions and everything we need to face to the Chilean 'Monster'".

"Viña del Mar was incredible and prompt, one of the best experiences," says Denise (Photo: Fede Rementería/Denise Di Paolo).

Experiences like these mark his young career, in fact he can assure that with each artist he worked with he had the necessary connection and the refuge of a great professional and human bond.

However, as Denu learned since she was little, she is always ready to be called and go on tour, as well as -when she lands in Buenos Aires- her dancers are waiting for her to continue learning.
