Bad signs for freedoms are piling up in Burkina Faso.
On Saturday evening, the ruling junta in Ouagadougou expelled the correspondents of the daily newspapers
Le Monde
and
Liberation
after a mere 24 hours .
These expulsions took place five days after the suspension of the France 24 channel and four months after that of Radio France internationale (RFI).
But the worst sign for the country is the reason the two journalists were declared persona non grata.
Liberation
revealed on March 27 the analysis of a video that appeared on several WhatsApp groups on February 14.
On this 83-second film, we see the bodies of 7 teenagers, their hands tied behind their backs.
They appear to have been executed.

A little later, the foul image of a man crushing the head of one of the victims with a large stone appears.
If the sequences, filmed at ground level, are often poorly framed and chaotic, they reveal enough details to incriminate the army...
