The media will not be able to broadcast live the arraignment of Trump
The United States media will not be able to broadcast live the indictment of former President Donald Trump in a Manhattan state court.
This was ordered this Monday by New York State Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, in rejection of a request by various media organizations to broadcast the historic process.
Judge Merchan noted in the injunction that only five photographers will be allowed on the jury bench prior to arraignment.
In justifying his decision, the judge explained that although the media has an "important and undoubtedly genuine" interest in broadcasting what happens inside the court, this must be weighed against "opposing" interests.

Donald Trump appears this Tuesday before a judge in Manhattan to
hear the charges for which he will be prosecuted
in the case of a black payment to buy the silence of a porn actress, in the first criminal charge against a former US president.
