Indeed, a bag with several cubitainers, or cubis, was found abandoned on a train.

A passenger would then have given these containers to the SNCF agents who placed them in the lost and found room.

It is in this room that the deceased employee would have drunk in one of the cubis, according to several testimonies.

An investigation was opened to find the causes of death and analyze the products.

"

For the moment there is no need to worry because these cans are not subject to special protection

," assured the prosecution.

We confirm the death of one of our agents at Saint-Étienne Châteaucreux station.

Our thoughts go first to the family and colleagues affected by this disappearance.

Psychological assistance has been put in place

, ”said the SNCF for its part to our colleagues.

It now remains to be seen whether the death is linked to the ingestion of the liquid.
