Minister Amichai Shikli today (Tuesday) attacked Governor Amir Yaron following his severe warnings against the legal revolution promoted by the government.

In an interview with Network B here, the minister said that "his move is more political than economic. He serves the elites and not the citizens of Israel."

"I am very sorry for the conduct of the governor of the Bank of Israel, as soon as he went to a foreign network and gave angry prophecies about Israel's economy, he sabotaged it," Shikli said about the recent interview the governor gave to the CNN network.

"Economics is more psychology, when you come and say there will be darkness over an abyss - you create a picture of the future. The forecast you say is the forecast you make."

Yaron warned yesterday that the economic damage from the legal revolution could be worth an average of NIS 14 billion per year.

According to him, "The uncertainty surrounding this event is very, very large. If the event remains for a long time, we see a decrease of approximately NIS 50 billion per year in the three-year period."
