On vacation in Portugal, for example, I just jump off a ten-meter cliff," says the 52-year-old from the Middle Franconian district of Roth in an interview with

She works full-time as a yoga teacher and as a so-called best-ager model in commercials.
The mother of three must also prove her thirst for adventure in the upcoming episode of GNTM on Thursday, April 6: Then she joins the current show as one of six new candidates.
But her competitors, who have been there since the first episode, don't exactly welcome her with enthusiasm.

Not for the first time, older women are also allowed to take part in the show.
Klum brought best ager models to the show last year, and one of them made it to the final.

As the second oldest contestant of the current season, Charlene wants to prove that beauty is independent of age.

"We will miss our mom so much.

Despite this, she still does a lot for us: housekeeping, doing the laundry, cooking,” says one of her daughters, who is already a young adult herself, and starts to laugh.
Like her mother, she wears her hair long and loose.
However, Charlene's hair is striking because of its silver-grey color.
"I hope it won't be too dirty when I come back," replies the 52-year-old.
The candidate already has previous experience in the fashion and advertising industry, because her sedcard as a best ager model is deposited with a model agency in Bielefeld.
