"Dahoam is dahoam" made her famous, but the Munich actress Teresa Rizos has long left the daily series behind, plays leading roles in television films and in the BR cult series "Servus Baby".

Now she can be seen in the ZDF production "Who feeds the rabbit?".

The step into self-employment – Jule Meisner has been waiting for this for a long time.

With husband Marco and daughter Fine, it is to go from Munich to the North Sea, where the young woman wants to start her own company with a friend.

But then the shock – Marco changed his mind.

He would like to stay in Munich, not least because he has fallen in love with his colleague Natalie.

From one moment to the next everything is in pieces.

Teresa Rizos plays the leading role in the television film "Who feeds the rabbit?", which ZDF will show on Friday at 9 p.m.

A conversation with the 36-year-old about her new film, Easter and the hit series "Servus Baby".

Jule is very consistent in her actions - what do you have in common with her, how do you differ?

Teresa Rizos:

Jule is much faster than me, she decides quickly, but also backtracks quickly.

I think about it for a long time, but usually don't regret my decisions.

I still admire your courage to just try things out.

Your character has one or two outbursts of anger - did you have to train yourself for the role or can you also freak out in private?

Teresa Rizos:

Of course I know the feeling of anger, but Jule is faster than me there too.

I think that's good, because we women and girls like to be trained away from such emotions.

A healthy anger can be an impetus to change things that annoy or bother you.

Have you ever been in a life situation where you had to choose between work and family?

Teresa Rizos:

No, I don't have any children, but if I did, I would certainly face similar problems as Jule or many women.

When is employment an absolutely understandable desire for self-realization and independence, when is selfishness?

How lucky do parents have to be to be a good mother or father?

The film runs on Good Friday, and the action also takes place shortly before Easter.

How important was that to the story?

Teresa Rizos:

At the time of shooting, it wasn't certain when the film would be broadcast.

But Easter here stands for a family celebration that this family no longer wants or can celebrate together.

I'm very attached to Easter and it would make me sad if I had to celebrate it alone.

How do you celebrate Easter?

Teresa Rizos:

We always meet at my mother's or my sister's, we eat together, the children look for Easter nests.

Nobody in our family really likes eggs, but Easter does, which is the one day we all eat eggs until we're sick.

But that's part of it, then you know: It's enough for another year.

The series "Servus Baby", in which you play Eve, was another career boost for you, wasn't it?

Teresa Rizos:

You can say that, yes.

Working with Natalie Spinell (writer and director, ed.) is so inspiring because she works so precisely and knows exactly what she wants.

And he won't leave you alone until everything fits.

No assembly line production as with "Dahoam is dahoam"?

Teresa Rizos:

Well, I shot a few other things in between, in which my roles were more differentiated.

The special thing about "Servus Baby" is that it has many different colors between comedy and drama, without always hitting your head off.

No jealousies between the leading actresses for the best punch line?

Teresa Rizos:

No, zero!

Neither with us nor with anyone else in the cast!

It's very balanced, each season has its episode, so to speak.

We always watch the seasons together before they're released, we're happy and we encourage each other.

Why do you have to encourage each other?

Teresa Rizos:

"Servus Baby" is now a huge thing, a lot of people see it.

As long as you surrender to the process of shooting, you don't think about how it will affect the viewer.

That only comes after you are unsure whether everything will fit and achieve the effect you intended.

Will it continue?

Teresa Rizos:

Nothing is planned yet, but there is an option for a sequel.

I would really like it to continue.

You also do comedy, you even did it on the "Lady's Night" in the first...

Teresa Rizos:

That came about in the course of the development between "Dahoam is dahoam" and "Servus Baby".

I wanted to express my own creativity even more and started inventing a character myself, with more humor than in my other roles.

And that's how Franzi Riedinger came about.

And do you want to continue playing them?

Teresa Rizos:

Yes, it is planned.

I'll have a cabaret break in the summer and then I'll see whether I'll continue with the program in autumn or winter or whether something new will come up then.
