In the recent tragic and violent hours in La Matanza there was a very striking absence.
It was that of Axel Kicillof.
Nobody should have pretended that the governor of Buenos Aires went to the scene of the crime of the bus driver, Daniel Barrientos.

his public dispensation tried to be masked at all levels by his Security Minister, Sergio Berni.
The official was brutally attacked by protesters linked to the UTA (Union Tranviarios Automotor), fed up with the lack of responses in the face of

protect Kicillof.

He first highlighted the solidarity gesture of Cristina Fernández, after the attack.

Immediately he questioned Horacio Rodríguez Larreta for the actions of the City Police, which rescued him from the melee.
"They wanted to hold me captive,"
he invented.
The corollary was the doubts that he sowed about the origin of the murder.
"They could have thrown a dead man at us,"
he denounced.
As if there had been some plan, a premeditation.
Berni's overexposure could be denoting two things.

weakness or non-existence
in Buenos Aires of a format aimed at combating crime.

With the possibility – the only one not closed yet – that the vice president strengthens such an offer with her candidacy for senator for Buenos Aires.
The violence in La Matanza cast doubt on that plan.
Not only because of the Barrientos crime.
Also because of a savage rebellion that, on different scales and for different reasons, has been repeated in Buenos Aires.
A provocation played against Berni.
He discovered the true fears that plague Kirchnerism in the province.
As he politicized his speech, after the attack he suffered, the Minister of Security wanted to include alleged PRO militants among the attackers.
He knows very well that they were affiliated with or close to the UTA led by the Peronist Roberto Fernández.
