"Republicans in Congress should stop funding the DOJ (Department of Justice) and the FBI until they come to their senses. The Democrats have fully armed law enforcement in our country and are perversely using this abuse of power to
interfere in our elections
, already under siege," Trump said on his Truth Social social network.
The former president turned to his social network to react after a day on Tuesday in which, after declaring in New York, he assured, back in Florida, that the US "is going to hell" and that he never thought that "
something this would happen",
referring to an unprecedented event in the 245 years of history of this country as an independent nation.

Trump was accused of allegedly having orchestrated a legal scheme to silence three people who could harm his campaign for the Presidency in 2016, including the porn actress Stormy Daniels, prosecutor Alvin Bragg explained after the indictment.
