The representative of the Palestinian Authority at the UN Riyad Mansour announced this evening (Wednesday) that the UN Security Council will hold a closed discussion tomorrow on the issue of the escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Also, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the activity of the Israeli police in the mosque, where hundreds of rioters barricaded themselves during the night.



"I want to express sorrow and anger," Erdogan said.

"Turkey will never be silent about attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israel needs to stop the attacks. The mosque is a red line for Turkey."
