The clinic in Lekia from which the woman who was injured by a gunshot was evacuated (MDA spokeswoman)
A 4-year-old boy drowned today (Wednesday) in a pool in Katsrin.
Medical teams that arrived at the scene treated him, but in the end had to pronounce him dead on the spot.
MDA medic Sheila Meiberg said: "This is a very difficult incident.
The boy was found unconscious in the pool and pulled out."
"When we arrived, he was lying near the pool and they performed basic CPR on him with telephone guidance from the MDA center," said the medic.
"We continued the medical treatment and performed advanced and prolonged resuscitation operations on him that included resuscitation, massages and medication for over an hour and a quarter, but in the end we had to determine his death."
