The Buenos Aires Minister of Education,
Soledad Acuña,
affirmed this Thursday that she continues with the intention of replacing
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta
as head of the Buenos Aires Government.
"
I still have the intention
of being head of Government to guarantee this transformation project that we have been doing for many years in the City," said Acuña.
"We continue to work with the entire team within the framework of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta's project to think about the continuity of all the transformations that we have been carrying out," he added on
Miter radio.
The minister clarified that "there is still time and definitions", but meanwhile she continues "touring the City thinking about how to improve all the good things" that are being done in the Buenos Aires district.
When asked if there is a possibility that she is Jorge Macri
's running mate
, she considered: "There is still a long way to go. For that there is still more time because the STEP in the City define only the figure of head or head of Government, it is not He chooses a formula as it is at the presidential level. So thinking about being first or second is useless."
Days ago, after Mauricio Macri's request, Larreta himself was the one who had slipped that there will be only one PRO candidate in the City.
And he said it in an act where he was accompanied precisely by Acuña.
Although the head of government who will go for the presidency did not establish a position for any one in particular, the former president did with his cousin, Jorge Macri.
In addition to Acuña, another candidate is the Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós.
