The electoral contest in Jujuy was framed in a family fight, starting with the marriage of the radical governor with the lawyer Tulia Snopek -sister of the Peronist senator- and a challenge for a curious article of the Jujuy constitution.
The article of contention indicates that "the respective spouses and relatives up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or second degree of affinity, or by adoption, of the acting Governor or Lieutenant Governor may not be candidates for Governor or Lieutenant Governor."
Snopek denounces that in 2019 they let him be a candidate for governor and now he points to Morales, although the presentation was made by proxies of the justicialismo.

The challenge was presented by the representatives of the FJ, Facundo Figueroa Caballero and Gonzalo de la Colina.
The local justicialismo is led by the provincial deputy and president of the PJ, Rubén Rivarola, together with the national deputy Carolina Moisés.
After the presentation, the Jujuy Electoral Tribunal ordered the "Unidad por Jujuy" front - headed by Guillermo Snopek - to "replace the candidate in the Governor category within three days."
During Holy Week, the Court will accept presentations and affirmed that the term "will inevitably expire on April 10, 2023, at 1 pm."
