The Russian Tamara Samsonova committed a heinous crime and the police suspect that she carried out eleven other murders.

Tamara Samsonova

, known in the Russian press as "The Cannibal Grandmother" or also as "Baba Yaga", is one of the cruelest criminals in contemporary history.

Samsonova had already killed at least a dozen people before moving into Valentina Ulanova's house to take care of her.

However, they quarreled over dirty unwashed cups, and Samsonova drugged the 79-year-old by putting crushed pills of phenazepam, a prescription drug, in a salad before dismembering the woman while she was still alive. .

Mikhail Timoshatov, the lead investigator in the case, told Russian journalists:

"Tamara Samsonova admits that she initially put her friend to sleep and then dismembered her."

The crimes of Tamara Samsonova

Samsonova wrapped her friend's body parts in a shower curtain and dumped them near a pond on Dimitrova Street in St. Petersburg, near where she lived.

The bundle with the body remained there for several days until a passerby decided to investigate.

The police were contacted, and a house-to-house search led them to Samsonova's doorstep.

There the agents found more body parts in black plastic bags and traces of blood throughout the apartment.

Samsonova admitted to the murder, saying that she had killed Ulanova

after they argued over some unwashed cups.

Another more bloody version of the crime indicates that Samsonova was charged with murder after being caught taking a saucepan with her friend's boiled head and severed hands out of her apartment.

After admitting to this crime, the murderer has refused to cooperate with the police, who are investigating eleven other

alleged murders of people who disappeared around her.

What happened there remains a mystery and the authorities have found no answers.

Fate the Russian Cannibal Grandmother

Samsonova was sent to a notorious psychiatric hospital after refusing to tell police how many victims she has dismembered.

The mother, husband and several of the tenants of this 68-year-old woman disappeared without trace,

but the remains have not been found, making it difficult for agents to press charges against her.

According to Russian media, security cameras in her neighborhood

recorded Samsonova dismembering the body of her 79-year-old friend with a hand saw and removing other body parts in bags.

According to a source close to the investigation: "

We may never know the extent of the murders of this terrible granny

."

However, the police found a notebook where Tamara described (in Russian, English and German) her crimes.

That framed her as the murderer of more than ten people.

The Russian police doubted the veracity of the facts, but some time later Tamara

confessed in a video the way in which she murdered her victims: she dismembered them, cooked them, and ate them.

"Granny": the video game based on the Cannibal Granny

The game, available on the Playstore, stars a creepy old woman (wearing a mask and nightgown) who lives in a wooden house in which the player is trapped.

The goal is to escape from her without making a sound because if she listens, she attacks and kills the protagonist.

In "Granny" there are five days to escape from the house, a place full of traps, holes, objects that can help you get out and very intense scenarios.

The game came out in 2017 and so far it has three updates

.

The newest adds a grandfather to make matters worse.
