The excessive operation to arrest the bus drivers who attacked the Buenos Aires Security Minister,
Sergio Berni
, who broke into the protests for the crime of driver
Daniel Barrientos (65)
, involves a City prosecutor and a Province guarantee judge who ordered the violent arrest.
The filmed operation generated the repudiation of the entire political spectrum, from the opposition to Cristina Kirchner, and a collective strike in the western zone.
Criticism for the arrests of
Jorge Galiano
(49) and
Jorge Zerda
(32), apprehended around midnight on Wednesday in Lomas del Mirador and Gregorio de Laferrere, within the La Matanza Party, fell on the judicial officials who ordered the operation .
Ten minutes before midnight on Wednesday, the operation was ordered by the City's 31 Misdemeanor Criminal Prosecutor, headed by Carlos Rolero Santurian.
The search warrant was requested by Judge Luisa María Escrich, of the Court of First Instance for Misdemeanors and Misdemeanors No. 20 of the City, and was executed by the judge in charge of Guarantee Court No. 6 of Morón, Province from Buenos Aires.
In addition, the search warrant mentions the head of the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) of Morón, of the Buenos Aires Police.
The Community Investigations Division of Commune 9 of the City Police also appear there as collaborators.
The truth is that dozens of troops were deployed to surround the house of the drivers accused of assaulting Berni, when they asked for more security after the crime of a murdered co-worker.
The images quickly generated the repudiation of opposition leaders.
Former Security Minister and presidential candidate Patricia Bullrich accused the ruling party of being "on the side of the jets."
"To arrest a worker they send a whole squad," she opined.
For her part, former governor María Eugenia Vidal and pre-candidate for president considered the situation "a circus" and wondered: "Why don't they take care that the people of Buenos Aires can go out into the streets without fear?"
Likewise, the former Buenos Aires Minister of Security and candidate for governor, Cristián Ritondo, remarked: "Kicillof's papers are increasingly serious and more worrying."
Almost a day after the raids, Cristina Kirchner's Critic also arrived.
"I just saw on television the police operation where one of the bus drivers who savagely attacked the PBA Security Minister was arrested," the vice president posted.
"They tell me that it was a joint operation of the CABA police with the Buenos Aires police. Was the magnitude of the operation and the treatment given to the detainee necessary, as if it were an attempt to apprehend a drug trafficker in his bunker?" added Cristina Kirhcner.
In this context, Cristina Kirchner compared the arrests with the attack against her: "Someone writes to me... verbatim: 'The drinker who wanted to kill CFK was treated better than a bus driver who gave Berni a pineapple.' they treated him better: the militants arrested him, not the police, and I was lucky that Barrientos didn't have it, the bullet didn't come out".
