The 23-year-old has become known for his travel videos, in which he films himself on dangerous undertakings.

The 23-year-old Briton Miles Routledge runs a video channel on YouTube under the pseudonym “Lord Miles”.

Miles Routledge became known in 2021 when he posted pictures of himself from the capital Kabul during the Taliban takeover.

The Briton describes himself as a "danger tourist" and repeatedly shows himself in dangerous situations in his videos.

On his Twitter profile he writes about himself: "I go to the most dangerous places in the world for fun!"

Routledge released a video last year of himself visiting an arms market in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

He then filmed himself shooting an assault rifle with members of the Taliban in the desert.

The video reached over a million clicks on YouTube and is by far his most viewed video.

However, according to a report by the English-language portal Dailymail.co.uk, the 23-year-old was arrested and detained by the Taliban on March 2, 2023, along with two other Brits.

Speaking to Sky News about the arrest, UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman said the UK government would support its nationals abroad.
