The day after the eleventh demonstration against the pension reform, the prefect of the Ardennes lodged a complaint after the discovery of an inscription on a wall in Charleville-Mézières calling him a “Nazi”, he indicated this

" was painted on a wall in Charleville-Mézières, denounces the prefect Alain Bucquet in a press release.

", he wrote.

The prosecutor of Charleville-Mézières Magali Josse told AFP that, when she had confirmation of the filing of this complaint, she would open an investigation for "

contempt of person depositary of public authority

".

According to her, the inscription was drawn on the wall of a school, which also reported it to the prosecution on Friday.

The prefecture also announced that it had reported to the public prosecutor's office that during "an

Weapons and voluntary concealments in demonstration

Five people, three men and two women, were also placed in police custody on Thursday following the demonstration, according to the prosecutor, for participating in a crowd after a summons to disperse, for some of them "

being armed

" or "

voluntarily concealing

" their face, and violence against a soldier of the gendarmerie, without incapacity.

Several demonstrations against the pension reform gave rise to overflows in Charleville-Mézières according to the prefecture which had in particular denounced on March 28 the throwing of bottles of acid on the police.

According to the Ardennais, five demonstrators were injured on Thursday.
