Schäfer Heinrich did not find great love on RTL, but "Bauer sucht Frau" secured the farmer's way into show business.
There, the 56-year-old may have met the woman of his dreams.
Völlinghausen – Actually, “Farmer is looking for a wife”, as the title suggests, is all about great love.
But in addition to the more or less successful pandering, the RTL program gives some participants surprising fame, such as Narumol (57), Patrick Romer (27) or Schäfer Heinrich (56).
The latter could now have found the woman for life far away from Inka Bauses (54) dome show – thanks to the second career, which only got rolling through his first TV appearances.

Schäfer Heinrich doesn't have it easy at the moment: " I
have existential fears," revealed the "Bauer sucht Frau" favorite recently on
rtl.de.
This is due to rising feed and fuel costs and reduced income from his part-time job as a mood singer (“Das Schäferlied”, “Alle Schafe sind schon da”).
The worries seem justified: "I'm slowly no longer able to fight it financially," says the 56-year-old.
But there is also good news in the life of the farmer.
After he was not granted great love either in 2008 in the regular "Bauer sucht Frau" season or in a Christmas special from 2009, Schäfer Heinrich has apparently sparked the right sparks.
The sheep farmer based in the district of Soest (North Rhine-Westphalia) has not yet been hired, but is probably well on the way there: "She is 30 years old, comes from Leipzig and has been to the farm a few times."
Schäfer Heinrich – the secret star of Ballermann
For RTL, Schäfer Heinrich was a real stroke of luck in the fourth season of "Bauer sucht Frau" (2008): Thanks to his warm and honest nature and his passion for singing, the farmer immediately became the audience's favourite.
His "Schäferlied" was released as a single the same year he took part and reached number 5 in the charts - a success that opened the floodgates for him at Ballermann: In Mallorca, the 56-year-old still ensures the best party atmosphere to this day.
His repertoire now includes titles such as "In the tractor in front of me", "House at the Hühnerfrikasee" or "Here comes a Schluckspecht".
Between 2015 and 2018 he was honored four times with the Ballermann Award, a music prize for party hits.

Schäfer Heinrich does not have to spend the long weekend alone: "She would like to visit me again at Easter." He met the 26-year-old woman during one of his singing performances in Mallorca.
His chances seem good: "To call her a girlfriend would be a bit early, but something is brewing.
Now we have to see how it develops.
She has the right nature, if she now also understands the agricultural sector, it would be perfect.”
