These are additional launchers that the Lebanese army found since Thursday, and apparently were intended to be launched in the barrage that was carried out on Thursday from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Two days ago, 34 rockets were launched from Lebanese territory towards the Western Galilee, 25 of which were intercepted by Iron Dome, and five fell in the area and caused damage to buildings.
The shooting was attributed to Hamas.
At the same time, red alerts were activated several times in the Gaza Strip and Sderot.
Following the shooting from both fronts, the IDF launched an attack in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip on the night between Thursday and Friday. In addition, the IDF will reinforce the Northern and Southern Command with regular forces of infantry and artillery fighters. This, against the background of the fear of a security deterioration that will last for days.

In a statement by the IDF spokesman in response to the rocket launches from Lebanon, it was stated: "The IDF will not allow the terrorist organization Hamas to operate from Lebanon and considers the state of Lebanon responsible for all the fire from its territory."
