The condition of the woman who was injured yesterday (Friday) in the attack on Route 57 in the Jordan Valley continues to be difficult.

The woman, a new immigrant from England, 48 years old, underwent surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, to which she was taken by helicopter.

Her two daughters, aged 16 and 21, were killed by terrorists shooting at their vehicle.

The terrorists have not yet been caught.

A military source said that the findings at the scene show that the vehicle in which the women were traveling was sprayed by the terrorists, who even made a death certificate afterwards.

According to the source, the security system does not rule out the possibility of a "sophisticated attack", in which the terrorists drove a car, deliberately hit the Israeli car and caused it to veer off the road.

After that, the assailants got out of the vehicle and opened fire at the female passengers.

From the photos that came to me, voila!

It appears that the attackers were driving a Volkswagen type vehicle with Israeli license plates.

However, the number on the license plate ends in 26, which could indicate that it was stolen from a taxi.

On the other hand, the car was not registered as stolen in the police records.

In the current wave of terrorism, 18 people have been murdered so far, including the Italian tourist who was murdered yesterday in Tel Aviv.

Following the attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant will hold a situation assessment with senior security officials.

A Hamas spokesman welcomed the attack: "This is a natural response to the crimes of the occupation against the al-Aqsa Mosque."

MDA paramedic Denis Polkov said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a crushed Israeli vehicle with three women and a Palestinian car.

Two young women in their 20s were rescued from the vehicle while they were unconscious without a pulse and without breathing with multi-system damage and after medical tests they were pronounced dead on the spot.

A 40-year-old woman is suffering from severe multi-system damage and we are fighting for her life in the field."

Commissioner Kobi Shabtai commented on the attack while assessing the situation at the Western Wall, and said: "This is a murderous attack that reminds us how relevant the threat of the IDF in its various forms is. Therefore, alongside our activity and that of the security forces in all sectors, I call upon every citizen who possesses a licensed and trained weapon To manipulate it according to the law - to carry it these days."

The commander of the Jordan Valley Fire and Rescue Eshkol, Uri Orbach, said: "We were called to a serious car accident near Hamra in the Jordan Valley. Upon arriving at the scene, we identified a vehicle with three victims with bullet marks on the vehicle, and injuries typical of a terrorist incident. We immediately reported that there was suspicion of a terrorist organization.

We started by evacuating the injured, and providing assistance to the medical forces on the spot, this at the same time as the scans we carried out in the area to locate additional vehicles.

In the scans, we identified another vehicle with a 'front-back' impact, but no injuries."

The attack happened about an hour after the security establishment announced a return to normalcy after the barrage of missiles towards the north and the launching of rockets towards the settlements of the south in the last two days.

A security official admitted this morning that the Israeli deterrence has worn off.

"If until now there was a fear that the Israeli deterrence had been eroded, in the last two days we received the stamp for that," said the source.
