After finding a dead young man and a seriously injured teenager in a parking lot near Ludwigsburg, the police arrested a suspect on Saturday evening.
As reported by the "Bild" newspaper, the suspect was arrested as part of a mission by a special task force on the outskirts of the small town of Asperg (Baden-Württemberg).
Further details were not known.

Witnesses had reported several shots, shortly afterwards the police found the lifeless 18-year-old and another 18-year-old man with serious injuries.

As the police in Ludwigsburg announced early on Saturday morning, the two young men were discovered in a gravel parking lot.
The police searched extensively, including with a helicopter, for the perpetrators.
The circumstances of the crime are so far unclear, it said.
The police and rescue services went out on a large-scale operation during the night.
The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the crime and possible escaped vehicles.
Another act had caused horror in March: an 81-year-old shoots at a 16-year-old - a day later the young person is dead. Apparently two bullets hit him.
The motive of the perpetrator is still unknown.
