Even when the security escalation began last week, he only announced the "suspension" of the dismissals, leaving the hearing open;

But the multi-site terrorist attack on Passover, which fulfilled Gallant's prophecy of rage word for word, left the prime minister no choice.
Not even the latest polls that announced that he, his party and coalition are in collapse, and convinced him that he should minimize damage and make a U-turn.
