It has become a sad refrain in the agglomeration of Nantes for a month.
Every weekend, the Loire-Atlantique emergency services mention in their intervention report the treatment of one or more individuals injured by firearms.
This was again the case during this long Easter weekend.
The facts took place Monday evening, around 11:30 p.m., near rue d'Agen in Saint-Herblain, a town bordering Nantes.
The firefighters came to the aid of
"a person attacked by firearm at the foot of an apartment building"
, indicates the departmental operational center for fire and rescue (Codis).

Open investigation
The victim is a 20-year-old man.
He was transported in
“serious condition”
to the Nantes University Hospital.
The national police and the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service (Smur) were also present at the scene.
As a result, an investigation was opened.
She was handed over to the police.

, the victim was injured in the calf and seven casings were found on the spot.

A death on March 19
On April 2, a 26-year-old man was shot and wounded in rue Pierre Bouguer, located in the Bottière Pin-Sec district.
He had been hit in the right hand.
On March 26, a man in his thirties was shot in the knee in the Doulon-Bottière district.
The weekend of March 17 to 19 was even more violent.
Three episodes of gunfire had been recorded in less than 48 hours.
The latter had notably caused one death in the Malakoff district, a 27-year-old Algerian, and a light injury, touching the buttocks, in the northern districts.
