At least three people, including a five-year-old child, are dead and two others are in absolute emergency following a
“tragic road accident”
which occurred Monday in Faouët, in Morbihan, the prefecture announced in a press release.
“A man and a woman, both aged 40, and their five-year-old daughter, traveling in the same vehicle, died in the frontal impact,” said the press release published on the night of Tuesday April 11
.
The collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. between two cars at a place called Coat Loret on the RD 769, at the intersection with the RD 782, in Faouët.
"In the second vehicle of this frontal impact, a 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman are in absolute emergency and taken care of by the medical teams", continues the prefecture, specifying that the two injured were transported by helicopter
to Brest.
The prefect also indicated that
“13 SDIS vehicles, 27 firefighters, 2 SMUR teams and soldiers from the departmental gendarmerie group are mobilized on the site”
