Le Figaro takes stock of the disruptions expected in transport for this twelfth day of mobilization against pension reform, including in the air sector.

This Thursday, April 13, the unions are once again calling on the French people opposed to the pension reform to mobilize.

For the twelfth time since mid-January, demonstrations will take place in many cities in France, and strikes will disrupt activity in several sectors.

Le Figaro

takes stock of the difficulties expected in transport Thursday, on the eve of the decision of the Constitutional Council on the text.

At the SNCF

Will the strike be followed this Thursday, April 13 at the SNCF?

The company expects traffic to be “ disturbed

” again

on its network, but less than during the first interprofessional days of the social movement.

In detail, on the main lines, four

TGV Inoui and Ouigo trains

out of five should run.

Similarly, internationally

,

Eurostar and Thalys traffic will be almost normal

”, specifies the rail group.

SNCF expects to offer three out of five

TERs

, as well as one out of five

Intercités

during the day, but none at night.

In

Île-de-France

, Transilien expects difficulties on several lines.

"

The circulation of trains will be disrupted on the RER A, C, D and E as well as on the Transilien lines H, L, N, P and R

", specifies the company on its site.

In detail, according to SNCF, three out of four trains will run on lines N and P, as well as on RER A, and two out of three on RER C, E and lines H, L and R. Similarly, three RER D out of five will run.

At the RATP

This Thursday, the

RATP

expects little disruption overall on its network.

Traffic should thus be “

almost normal

” on the RER, as well as on the metro, “

with the exception of a few lines

”, notes the company, without specifying yet which axes will be concerned.

In addition, no disruption is expected on the bus and tram networks.

In the air

In a press release sent on Tuesday, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) indicates that it has asked airlines

to

cancel 20% of scheduled flights “

at the airports of Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nantes

”.

For the time being, the Paris airports are therefore not concerned.

"

Despite these preventive measures, disruptions and delays are nevertheless to be expected

", specifies the administration.

Other actions on Friday?

Friday, crucial for the future of the reform, could also be disrupted.

The Constitutional Council will deliver its long-awaited decision that day on the compliance of the pension reform project with the Constitution.

The Elders could opt for partial or total censorship of the text, which would be likely to bring new life to social mobilization.

The Constitutional Council will also decide on the continuation or not of the project of RIP (Referendum of shared initiative), initiated by 252 parliamentarians from the left and the Liot group (Freedoms, Independents, Overseas and Territories).

Protest actions could take place on Friday, especially in the regions.

In its press release published on April 6, the intersyndicale indeed indicates that it supports “

all inter-union mobilization actions and initiatives, including April 14, to win the withdrawal of this reform”.
