Plug-in or self-charging hybrid?
The question goes round and round when it comes to motorists choosing a vehicle with dual internal combustion and electricity.
At Suzuki, we favor the second option, the most suitable for a compact model, both in terms of weight, size and price.
This is how the latest addition to the range, the S-Cross, a compact SUV no longer than a Peugeot 2008, is offered in two versions: 1.4 liters with 48-volt micro-hybridization or 1, 5 liter self-charging hybrid with double injection and variable valve timing.

Called Dualjet, the latter has the advantage of being associated with a 6-speed robotic gearbox and of being able to drive electric in many situations.
Intelligent, the system seems to be watching for the slightest opportunity to switch to the 24 kW (33 hp) electric machine installed in the box and powered by a 0.846 kWh battery.
