A big anniversary show on Sat.1 was dedicated to the little dragon, which is especially loved by children.

A user became particularly clear under a Sat.1 post with Maffay and guest Max Giesinger: “Terrible show! Maffay just can't play back! No artist from the show 'Tabaluga und Lille' (except Rufus Beck). I was really happy and was bitterly disappointed.” The many advertising blocks were also frequently criticized. A circumstance that should now be known to the private broadcaster from Unterföhring.

Who invented Tabaluga?
The fairy tale character Tabaluga was invented by Peter Maffay, his longtime lyricist Gregor Rottschalk and the children's song singer Rolf Zuckowski.
In the beginning, a “rock fairy tale” was to emerge from the idea.
The children's book authors Gisela von Radowitz and Helme Heine finally developed the figure of the little green dragon.
Peter Maffay's successor could already be ready
So Tabaluga's anniversary show will certainly not have been the last major TV appearance of Peter Maffay's little dragon.
Should the rock icon retire one day, the successor could also be in the starting blocks: son Yaris celebrated his first TV appearance and is thus pursuing his own big dream.
It could soon be far less fantastic for Dieter Bohlen: his DSDS final collides directly with the "Beatrice Egli Show" on Saturday (April 15).
