" published by the European Commission on February 21, 2023, which in his words would "

This action plan, which reminds States of existing European law, in particular concerning the need to prohibit bottom trawling in marine protected areas, is not binding.

The NGO affirms that these "

irresponsible remarks

", made several times over the past three weeks against a backdrop of mobilization of fishermen, have set "

fire to the powder, and generated a disorder with serious consequences

", going as far as the burning of offices of the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) in Brest on the night of March 30 to 31.
