A Virginia man seems to be living proof that the popular phrase "luck is crazy and anyone takes it" has a lot of truth to it.
Fekru Hirpo, a resident of the city of Alexandria, decided to buy 20 tickets for the Lucky Pick 4 game on Easter weekend.
The tickets in which he placed his trust were purchased at a gas station in the city of Arlington
, the Virginia Lottery reported, quoted by the USA Today newspaper.
The winning numbers, 2-5-2-7, were identical on each of the 20 tickets
in the game.
Each ticket had a top prize of $5,000, causing Hirpo to go home with a total of $10,000.

According to a Lottery press release, quoted by the newspaper, Hirpo said he usually doesn't buy many Lucky Pick 4 tickets at the same time, but on Saturday he had a strong hunch about the game.
Hirpo confessed, quoted by USA Today, that after winning the jackpot he had no specific plans to use the money.

According to the Virginia Lottery page, Pick 4 is played daily at 1:59 p.m. and 11 p.m. The jackpot for a $1 ticket is $5,000.
An important fact: the odds of matching the four numbers in the game are 1 in 10,000.
Undoubtedly much higher than in other popular lottery games, but equally difficult to hit.
