South Korea: a bus with 33 Israeli travelers overturned, 10 moderately-severely injured - voila! news

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the bus overturned in the north of Chong Chang district, on the way to the hotel where the Israelis were staying. The incident is being handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Embassy in Korea, and the representatives of the embassy in Seoul are on their way to the scene of the accident and to the hospitals where the injured were taken

A bus in South Korea carrying 33 Israeli travelers overturned, ten people were moderately to severely injured - this is what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed today (Thursday).

The bus overturned in the north of Chong Chang district, on the way to the hotel where the Israelis were staying.



The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the incident is being handled by the Department for Israelis Abroad in the Consular Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem and the Israeli Embassy in Korea. Representatives of the Israeli Embassy in Seoul (ambassador and consul) are on their way to the scene of the accident and to the hospitals where the injured were taken, and are in contact with the local authorities handling the incident.

At the beginning of the month Ido Baumgarten, a young Herzliya resident, was killed in a motorcycle accident in northern Thailand.

His body was flown to Israel and he was buried in the Right Rest Cemetery in Kfar Saba.

In February, Shmuel (Shmulik) Buikner, an Israeli doctor about 30 years old, was killed in Nepal by an elephant attack.

His body was found lying in the forest and he was identified with the help of the driver's license found on him.
