The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) has revised the inflation rate slightly upwards over one year, which reached 5.6% in March, after peaking at 6.3% in February.

Over one month, consumer prices increased by 0.8% in March 2023, after +1.0% in February.

The indicator that refers to the European level, the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP), shows an increase of 6.6% per year in March 2023, after jumping 7.3% in February.
