Aguapanela (Calle de San Marcos, 26) is a restaurant located in the Chueca neighborhood of Madrid that sells food inspired by Colombia.
It is a perfect place for a first date or an afternoon with friends.

Each of its spaces is inspired by a region of Colombia, from the bar counter, decorated with paintings of sunsets in La Guajira, to its country tables, through the stairs that represent the sea of seven colors.
The chef recommends ordering the trilogy of patacones and empanadas as a starter.
As a main dish, the posta cartagena or the rice with shrimp, and to finish off a cocktail of brandy.
The dishes cost 20 euros on average, and you have to reserve because it is usually full.
"We are in fashion," says its owner.
One of the creators of the restaurant, Rubén Fernández, explains that he always had the idea of creating a Colombian restaurant different from what was in Madrid with his partners.
“They all had the same decoration and plating: they are only for Colombians.
We wanted to do something different, more beautiful and for everyone”, he explains.
An oasis in the middle of Atocha street
Anyone who has lived in Madrid for a while knows that Calle Atocha invites you to walk fast.
This is why, among the daily hustle and bustle, it is very possible to overlook a space located at number 34 in an old palace from 1852. This was rebuilt four years ago to give rise to the Patio de Atocha restaurant, an oasis in the middle of the center of Madrid that transports its visitors to a parallel reality of absolute calm and tranquility.

At the foot of a swimming pool, in a green space, El Patio de Atocha offers Mediterranean food with international touches.
Its director, Jesús Bonilla, explains that although his clients are mostly international, they now also seek to approach the local public with

"You have to come no matter what, although it is always better to book."
The chef, Eduardo Gutiérrez, recommends for a first time ordering the torreznos with Lima cause as a starter and, for the main dish, the wild sea bass or the Iberian cheeks with Pedro Ximenéz mole.

In addition to the gastronomic offer, the Hotel Cool Rooms offers a menu to have vermouth in the pool and its luxury rooms.
