To celebrate the 60th anniversary of its Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex is giving it a makeover, with a slightly redesigned case and an adjustment of the contrasts on the dial: resized indexes, redesigned counter rings... On the movement side, the new caliber 4131, equipped with the Chronergy escapement allows in particular the reduction of energy losses, and Paraflex shock absorbers.
A small revolution, a glass reveals the operation of the mechanism on the platinum version.
For the occasion, the movement has been decorated in an unprecedented way, with an openworked oscillating weight and, on the bridges, an exclusive Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration.
