Moscow – The head of the Wagner group Yevgeny Prigozhin has demanded an end to the Ukraine war.
In a press release published via Telegram, he called on the Russian authorities to declare the end of the war in Ukraine and to focus on gaining a foothold in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
"It is necessary for the authorities and for society as a whole to put a courageous end to the military operation," said the 61-year-old Wagner boss.
According to him, now is the right time to end the war and let everyone know that Russia has achieved its intended goals.
“Russia has already achieved everything.
We have a large number of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the ground and we are fortunate that we did our job,” Prigozhin said.

With Russia "annihilating" a large part of the male population in Ukraine and intimidating another part who fled to Europe, the attacks by Russian forces in recent months can be considered successful.
