The measure will be from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and it is for economic claims. It affects national lines with routes in the City and Greater Buenos Aires.

Within the framework of economic claims and subsidies, the chambers of bus companies announced that as of this Monday

they will reduce the frequency of night service

.

In addition, this Wednesday they will make a

three-hour strike

in the afternoon.

The measure affects the national lines with a route in the AMBA, from 1 to 199, which as of this Monday will provide a reduced service

between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

It was announced by the Business Chamber of Passenger Autotransportation (CEAP) , the Buenos Aires Urban Transport Business Chamber (CETUBA), the Buenos Aires Province Transport Chamber (CTPBA), the Argentine Association of Automotive Transport Entrepreneurs (AAETA) and the United Chamber of Urban Passenger Transport Entrepreneurs of Buenos Aires Aires (CEUTUPBA).

In the statement, the chambers speak of a

"shortage of resources"

due to a "considerable delay" in the "accreditation of the funds for tariff compensation" by the national government.

For these same claims, they announced that they will completely paralyze the service between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. this Wednesday.

From the sector they estimate that these funds -turned by the increase in costs- "to this day the debt amounts to

31 billion pesos."

In addition, they ensure that the State has not yet updated the values for March, "with objective prices and indicators that are effectively representative of the economic reality of the market."

Given this context, the reduction in frequencies is "in order to make benefits compatible with the economic resources available," the business chambers explained.

And they added that "the rationalization aims to avoid the total paralysis of benefits."

Public transport in the AMBA had already been paralyzed, at least partially, on several occasions over the past few weeks.

In March, some 80 lines in the region and in the interior of the country went on strike for 12 hours on March 17.

On that occasion, the forceful measure was led by the workers of the DOTA company and by a dissident faction of the UTA.

It was in demand for a salary improvement and for the union internal.

The call was repeated on March 23.

On April 3, after the murder of driver Daniel Barrientos, the service of lines 88, 96, 216, 218, 236, 269, 284, 325, 378, 382, 443, 620, 622 and 828, all of them from the western zone of Greater Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, last Thursday the company Metropol suspended the activity of its 23 bus lines.

From the firm they spoke of "lack of basic inputs to operate" and blamed the Ministry of Transport of the Nation for "repeated breaches" in the payment of compensation.
