Gilles-William Goldnadel: "Sandrine Rousseau caught up in her lies"

FIGAROVOX / CHRONICLE - The lawyer saw the program "Complement of the investigation", broadcast this Thursday, April 13 on France 2, devoted to the deputy EELV. This quality magazine has highlighted the many untruths of Sandrine Rousseau, says the lawyer.

Gilles-William Goldnadel is a lawyer and essayist.

Every week, he deciphers the news for FigaroVox.

I have often indicated in these columns how much the merchants of virtue inspired me with commercial mistrust and how much I held myself from the givers of moral lessons, at a respectable distance.

I also know the proponents of wokism as having little appetite for reality and more for the imaginary feeling.

For these two combined reasons, I admit that I gave the factual or ideological assertions of the deputy Sandrine Rousseau only limited credit.

But I did not imagine his imaginative capacity to distance himself from objective reality or to put it more bluntly: to lie.

Thanks be thus returned to the emission “Complement of investigation” of a public audio-visual one which I usually compliment only with economy.

And more particularly to his interviewer, the very rigorous Tristan Waldeck who, with his air of not touching it, manages, without much support, to confuse the hucksters.

This is exactly what happened with the radical environmentalist MP last Thursday.

And three times.

The first recovery where the person concerned was gently taken back concerns the accusations she made against her party comrade, Éric Piolle, but also a rival during the EELV primary to represent the far-left environmentalist party at the presidential election.

We remember that the eco-feminist candidate sharply accused the mayor of Grenoble of having pushed her.

Sandrine Rousseau claims today against the evidence to have never accused her former rival of having jostled her at summer universities.

When her interviewer reminds her, however, that she had tweeted that this jostling was

“not an invention”

, she can only stammer incomprehensible explanations.

Second recovery: according to Sandrine Rousseau, the Minister of Public Service at the time, Gérald Darmanin, intervened to prevent her from obtaining the management of Sciences Po Lille.

But as the journalists of France 2 soberly write:

“our investigation contradicts the facts”

.

Human nature being what it is, one can imagine the state of mind of Éric Piolle, Gérald Darmanin or even Adrien Quatennens who had settled his legal debt to human society when Sandrine Rousseau demanded still without amenity his exclusion from the hemicycle.

Gilles-William Goldnadel.

And for good reason, while Sandrine Rousseau peremptorily claims to have been called by one of the members of the jury who would have read to her on the telephone a text message from Gérald Darmanin reminding her of her hierarchical links and encouraging her to vote against her, the person concerned, interviewed in the show, director of the IRA, who had nevertheless voted for her, fiercely denies this version which she attributes to the unbridled imagination of the deputy.

Another member of the jury, Anne Bazin, feels insulted by what she considers to be fabrications.

Finally, we recall that Sandrine Rousseau was severely beaten.

At the end of the recovery, the case is heard.

But the third proven lie - because implicitly confessed - has far more serious consequences for the future of Mrs. Rousseau.

It concerns the vote of the future candidate for deputy in the XIIIth arrondissement of Paris.

As the producers of the show explain:

“In 2022, Sandrine Rousseau registered on the electoral lists of the XIIIth arrondissement thanks to a certificate of residence that she never occupied”

.

Confused and confused during the interview, the deputy admits having never lived in the apartment indicated in the certificate

.

"I was betting on this apartment"

, she tries to justify herself desperately now...

As the journalist interviewer writes with undeniable legal rigor on Twitter:

To register on the electoral lists of a constituency in which one has never lived is indeed an offence, according to article L88 of the Electoral Code which stipulates: "

Those who, using fraudulent declarations or false certificates will be unduly registered on an electoral list (...), will be liable to imprisonment for one year and a fine of 15,000 euros”.

However, he continues as rigorously as ruthlessly.

“Sandrine Rousseau was not yet living in Paris 13: neither March 1 (establishment of the residence certificate) nor March 4 (closing of the electoral lists) nor April 10 (first round of the presidential election where she was photographed voting without have the right to do so in the 13th century)

.

In short, a grief lawyer would summarize all of this synthetically as a misdemeanor of forgery.

It would surprise us that with this degree of publicity of this one, the parquet floor does not appear spontaneously or that an embittered citizen does not announce the offense to this one.

Human nature being what it is, one can imagine the state of mind of Éric Piolle, Gérald Darmanin or even Adrien Quatennens who had settled his legal debt to human society when Sandrine Rousseau demanded still without amenity his exclusion from the hemicycle.
