The Figaro group is launching its new hertzian channel this Monday, April 17.

A branch dedicated to culture and the art of living in Île-de-France.

Its name carries all this ambition: Figaro TV Île-de-France.

But this DTT channel 34 will also include debate programs already developed on the web in video, such as “Les Clubs” (Politics, International, Culture);

“Points of view”, to decipher the news, or, with

TV MAGAZINE.

– What will be the spirit of “Bienvenue en Île-de-France”?

SIKORA Victory.

– We have built it around three main axes.

The first part is devoted to current events in the Ile-de-France region, from sport to miscellaneous events via the economy, with two or three specialists on set.

Next, we discuss the culture around a guest.

Artists, actors, writers, singers, directors, choreographers, or even historians, like Franck Ferrand, are with us for fifteen minutes.

The last part consists of chronicles.

The speaker changes every day.

On Monday, for example, the young Brandon Waret talks to us about history, and Friday is devoted to culture.

The editorial staff offers weekend outings.

What interests us is to stick as closely as possible to the daily news of Ile-de-France residents, how to best inform them of what is happening around

What was your background before arriving on Figaro

TV Île-de-France?

After training for five years at Sciences Po Strasbourg, I started at B Smart, the business channel run by Stéphane Soumier.

I presented the JT for innovation and “Le Lab'”, where I interviewed startuppers.

It was in 2020. Then I joined the Delta agency to interview, still facing the camera, business leaders.

Then Le Figaro called me.

I was surprised.

In the newsrooms where I applied before, I was often told that I was too young or that I did not have the right background, as I did not come from a school of journalism.

So I saw this proposal as a great opportunity.

Who do you dream of bringing on your show?

Cooks or food critics, like François-Régis Gaudry.

I am passionate about gastronomy.

My favorite things in life are eating and cooking!

I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants and a regular at “Top Chef” on M6.

I would also like to create a recurring meeting in my program around this theme.

Do you conceive of this meeting as a welcome show?

Debate is not what this show is about.

There are other programs for this on the channel.

Our goal is to meet the players who make up Île-de-France, to explore its wealth and participate in its vitality.

We want to introduce Ile-de-France residents to universes, creators and creations.

My goal is also to forge a link with recurring columnists.

How do you live the idea of participating in the launch of a channel?

It's very stimulating to start from scratch.

And starting in the chain of a newspaper which will soon celebrate its 200th anniversary (in 2026) and which has so much expertise in its ranks, is a real opportunity.

Good to know
