Our world is full of mysticism and the desire to touch the unknown.
And the Torah warns us not to do sorcery and not to deal with the future.
why?
In his lesson Rabbi Yosiah Pinto expanded on the subject and opened a window to the Torah compass that should accompany us on a daily basis.
"What is witchcraft?" asked Rabbi Pinto, "One who goes to a person who tells him: This is how it will happen to you, this is what will happen to you - he is committing an unprecedented offense .
This is a very serious offense, because the Torah commands us to be innocent with the name of your God."
"Do you have a problem? Open the Psalms.
you have a problem?
Go to the rabbi who will bless you.
But going to fortune tellers - these things are forbidden in Israel.
Be innocent with Hashem your God, no matter what, even if you are about to die, pray to Hashem to save you, even if a sharp sword is placed on a person's neck, do not despair of mercy.
There is enormous power in prayers.
A person who prays from the bottom of his heart - he can make a big impact in the world," added Rabbi Pinto.
In the words of Rabbi Pinto: "Prayer has the power to change everything. Even a dead person dies - prayer has the power to revive him, but everything depends on faith. A person who goes about doing the prayer is like trading. If it works out, it's good, if it doesn't work out, it's not good. It's not good. A person should have complete and innocent faith."
