The boy is one of seven 14- to 16-year-olds accused of seriously injuring soldier Orian Banyan, who was attacked after trying to break up a fight between two minors in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood. One of the boys who attacked soldier Orian Banyan in a garden in north Tel Aviv returned to school this morning (Monday), sleeping with Orian's sister.

The Alliance school decided that two others involved would not be readmitted, and parents of students were outraged by the decision of the court and the high school principal - and demonstrated at the school gate.

"My sister says she's scared and traumatized. They don't let us recover from the incident," she told Walla!

Nicole Banyan, Orian's older sister.

"It's strange to me that a criminal youth against whom an indictment is filed comes to school, but children who come with short clothes or are rude are sent home for respect. It's a shame that we don't get the backing of the education system."

The boy, a 9th grade student, is one of seven 14- to 16-year-olds who were charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery in February.

According to the indictments, a month earlier Banyan tried to break up a fight that broke out between two of them in Shuster Garden in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood.

In response, the boys threatened him and confronted him, while one of them was holding a stun gun.

The boys later left the scene, but returned for revenge later that evening.

When they located Orian, they sprayed him with pepper spray, electrocuted him with a shocker and hit him with a lock.

They did not stop even after he fell to the floor, and cut his head from side to side with a Japanese knife.

He was moderately injured and was referred for medical treatment.

Banyan himself was investigated on the suspicion that he attacked one of the boys during the confrontation in the garden, and the investigation materials were transferred to the prosecutor's office for examination.

Now, the probation service and the court have decided to allow the boys to return to school.

The reintegration will be done gradually and under restrictive conditions.

According to Alliance management, the other two boys were involved in previous disciplinary incidents - and therefore it was decided to remove them immediately.

Two more are studying in high school, and probably one of them will go back to school.

Another boy attends a private high school, to which it is not clear if he has returned.

"A lot of children complained to us about the past stories of the attackers. Stabbing with a key, walking around with ringleaders, really acts of terror against children. And now they're going to sow terror again," accused Nicole.

"It's a community nightmare. They come back to hang out during breaks with everyone's kids. My sister will be mentally crushed every day."

Nicole is not the only one who resented the decision.

Some parents organized against the boy's return to school, came to the school this morning and shouted "This is a high school here, not Ayalon prison".

They also added and read over the megaphone the sequence of events of the attack from an article in Vala!

about the delay in arresting the suspects, and added, in an appeal to the high school principal: "And today the attackers are back at the school. Shame on you."

According to an announcement made by the parents' leadership at the school, the management clarified that during the process "discussions were held with the participation of professional parties, including: the Ministry of Education, the director of education, the psychological service, the testing service and of course the class counselor and all the relevant professional staff."

The parent leadership added that it "is in constant contact with the school management, and additional updates will be provided if necessary."

The Tel Aviv Municipality stated: "First, we note that it was the court that determined that the boy must be returned to school, while the other two boys who were actively involved in the attack will not return at this stage. The entire process is being done together with the police. The boy will gradually return to school when he is accompanied by a female officer test and in a protected program. A school principal spoke yesterday with the returning student's class, who is accompanied by the psychological service, and also spoke with the sister of the boy who was attacked individually."
