"Following the rumors that circulated since last night and for the purpose of deactivating any
operation tending to disturb the markets,
I have presented to the President @alferdez my irrevocable resignation as Head of Advisors immediately," the former Syngenta executive wrote on Twitter.
In a threaded post, Aracre added: "I take this opportunity to
thank the President
for having honored me with this position and he knows that he can
count on me for whatever he needs
."
The adviser had been announced in January as a member of Fernández's cabinet and only took office in February.
