Ben Gvir claims for his part: "Gives the police the tools" (Roni Knafo)
Eli Feldstein, the spokesman for the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, announced his resignation today (Thursday), after only four months in the position.
Last month, police reporters announced that they would boycott the annual toast held by the minister, due to the non-invitation of "Haaretz" reporter Joshua (Josh) Breiner to the event.
The annual toast is the main annual event held by the minister, which is also a sort of background conversation and briefing for reporters.
This is a long-standing tradition that crosses governments and ministers.
In response to Ben Gabir's boycott of Breiner, News 13 police reporter Yossi Eli announced that they would boycott the event.
Following him, Moshe Nussbaum from News 12 also said that he would not come for the same reason.
Maybe it was enough for Feldstein?

Breiner published that same week in "Haaretz" that Hanmal Dorfman, who serves as Ben Gabir's right-hand man, functions as his chief of staff and in this capacity signs official documents on behalf of the ministry - he is not a civil servant.
According to the publication, although months have passed since Ben Gvir took office, so far Dorfman's status has not been settled, and it is unclear whether and by whom he is employed as an employee.
