Mario Secco announced it and Máximo Kirchner confirmed it. It will be next Thursday and it would be the start of a series of events led by the vice president.

After Alberto Fernández's decision to drop his intention to seek re-election, Cristina Kirchner will once again appear publicly with her militancy as part of the outcry operation and with the aim of promoting the presidential candidacy.

It was announced by the mayor of Ensenada, Mario Secco, who set a date and place for the Vice President's return to the political scene: it will be next Thursday, April 27, at an act at the Teatro Argentino in the city of La Plata.

But at the closing of the event held this Saturday at the Ferro micro-stadium, Máximo Kirchner called on the militants to "accompany Cristina", in a meeting that would serve to announce the decision to take the plenary sessions to the interior of the country.

Secco, one of the mayors closest to Cristina is a member of the so-called 'Mesa de Ensenada' that organizes the plenary sessions of the Kirchner militancy, promotes the presidential candidacy of the Vice President, who after being convicted in a corruption case announced her decision not stand for any in the next elections.

"On the 27th there is a nice call with Cristina present in La Plata so that we can organize ourselves," said Mayor K, who was also one of the protagonists of the plenary session that was held this afternoon at the Ferro microstadium, in Caballito.

As Secco specified to the Télam agency, after Cristina Kirchner's message, work will begin for a great act on May 25.

"We will see if we continue with the plenary meetings of the militancy in the provinces," said the community chief and thus referred to another FdT meeting, scheduled for Saturday May 13 in La Rioja.

Strictly speaking, next Thursday's event in La Plata, which will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the April 27, 2003 elections that brought Néstor Kirchner to the Presidency, the vice president will give a speech that generates expectation after Alberto's resignation Fernandez.

But without a doubt, with the President's decision to open up the electoral dispute and resign from a second term, a new panorama opened up in the struggle within the ruling party and, on this point, Secco said that the discussion is focused on "putting Cristina where she has to be, which is deciding how we continue".

"Wherever we go, people sing 'Cristina Presidenta' and express that love, but that ends and they ask us what we are going to do. For this reason, we are putting ourselves in charge of people's claims. That is what we are doing," said the mayor.

As the hard core of Kirchnerism has been repeating, "Hope is Cristina" and added that if there is a "Plan B" that, he said, "Cristina will decide, who is the one who leads."

When commenting on Alberto Fernández's decision to decline his candidacy for re-election, the mayor considered that "it was a very good gesture from the President so that we can order ourselves."

"We have always had respect for the President because he helped the mayors and we cannot forget that. He got us out of a pretty tough pandemic and has made a great effort," he reflected.

Yesterday, the Vice President advocated "continuing to work for the happiness of the people and the greatness of the Nation" in an audio that was released by the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo 'Wado' De Pedro, during a meeting of the Justicialista Party of Santiago del Estero .
