"Askan has been freed from bad posture and is eagerly awaiting his home," the emotional post continued on Facebook.
The animal shelter reported about the dog months ago, but he still hasn't found a new family.
"Our young, lively shepherd dog with colorful dough in his head is looking for loving, consistent and above all active people," writes the animal shelter affectionately about the Malinois mix.

"Our sensitive boy is overwhelmed with everyday animal shelter life because he is very stressed here," the Facebook post continues.
If you deal with him, he is very affectionate, attentive and docile.
Askan has "a crazy desire" to work with his people and experience adventures.
"A real shepherd dog," says the animal shelter.
Askan likes to work with his nose, which is why they started doing hidden object games or mantrailing with him.
Basic commands are known to him, but can still be developed.
“In unfamiliar situations you have to be patient with him, then he will master them too.
He stores negative experiences for him very quickly and reacts uncertainly in these situations," the animal shelter continues.

Dog Askan needs surgery - costs are covered
The Malinois mix gets along well with bitches, with males the sympathy decides and with an existing male you just have to try it out, says the animal shelter and then announces a catch: “Unfortunately Askan has to bend the elbow in his new home and then the elbow surgery on the right hip.
Since he is currently much too spirited, an operation in the animal shelter unfortunately makes little sense according to the veterinarians.
The good news, however, is that the surgical costs are covered.
That's why the shelter hopes that the "clever little guy will finally find a home where he can rest."
