It took Alberto Fernández
almost a year
to please Cristina Kirchner.
He decided to return her favor with the same method with which she elevated him.
Through social networks, he informed her that he was giving up seeking her re-election.
And he did it with a hint of viciousness: he never anticipated that maneuver.
But, in addition, her resignation was accompanied by a call to strengthen the PASO mechanism for the definition of the Frente de Todos candidate, which complicates the claims of Kirchnerism for the Vice President to operate as "the great electorate" when defining the offer of the ruling party for the next elections.
That dominant feeling in the K ranks was summed up in the last few hours by an important reference of the FdT of direct and permanent dialogue with Máximo Kirchner and Governor Axel Kicillof.
"Alberto knew that Cristina was going to
get angry
for not having called her before.
He only
didn't notify anyone
, but
he left us the STEP
.
Here they want to cut it into little pieces," the spokesperson emphasized.
Difficult to explain and much more to understand.
The Vice President and La Cámpora did
everything in their power
to destroy the President's claim to go for his re-election.
But now, with that goal achieved, there are those who see that, by the way he communicated it, far from helping them, it
complicates them
.
In any case -they believe in Kirchnerism- the idea of avoiding a pro-government STEP and that Cristina is in charge of nominating the presidential candidate of space would remain.
They also chew some of that in the Casa Rosada.
"The most ridiculous thing that depicts the decomposition of the Government is that Alberto is forced to get off something where
he never got on
publicly. It's been a year since we've been shooting at each other for a supposed candidacy that never became official," they complain.
And they launch as a warning: "Maximo, Cristina and (Sergio) Massa
are not aware
of the damage they do to a country broken by poverty, inflation and insecurity by harassing a President only to see him surrender. I have no idea how we are going to get to December 10".
One of the few officials who still responds to the President is astonished by the
cruelty
that was carried out against the president.
"
The real clamor operation was the one they put together to put pressure on Alberto
,
with a lowness never seen before.
A much stronger operation than the one they are now doing so that Cristina regrets not being a candidate for anything," he told
Clarín
.
Daniel Scioli and the Pichichi cumbia, 2023 version for the elections.
Many read that Alberto is behind his candidacy.
"This is not the time for macrismo or Kirchnerism," he said.
From the Peronism of the powerful Buenos Aires suburbs
they also fear that the tension will not loosen
.
"Now that they finally managed to get Alberto not to show up,
they keep bitching about him
. This is already a cabaret. They say they are hot because he was not able to notify them, but above all because
in the video he continues to defend the PASO
, "said a mayor on leave.
And he adds: "It is true that, for
The way he did it,
he had some intention
.
The day before the video, she had taken a photo with Sergio (Massa) and shared an act with Kicillof.
And he didn't tell them anything?
Alberto's brain is indecipherable and is full of contradictory and meaningless decisions.
He noted that
we do not understand Cristina very much either
, we just know that she is accumulating
too much anger
instead of trying to order us.
Daniel Scioli's game
In the province of Buenos Aires, near Kicillof, they are also convinced that the President
planned
his capitulation so that Cristina and Massa would not get it for free.
And they suspect
Daniel Scioli,
who just
a few days before
Alberto's decision came out strong to install himself as a candidate for the Frente de Todos.
Cristina and Máximo Kirchner managed to get Fernández down but they are furious at the way he announced it.
"Daniel's thing is so senseless that it seems admirable. Nobody knows
if it is or is done
. Of every seven days that he travels the GBA and other places, only one or two is spent in Brazil where he is an ambassador and should work. And in addition to Selling himself on the networks as
the 'Pichichi'
, as if his candidacy was taken as a joke, repeats that it is not time for macrismo or Kirchnerism, equating Cristina with the right," criticized the same mayor.
In that campaign phrase, the still ambassador of Brazil (a country where he no longer lives and visits less every day), also pointed out that "it is not time for Albertismo" either.
A
few days later
, the President surprised with his resignation.
An official from Buenos Aires, who usually visits the Instituto Patria, interpreted in this regard: "Nobody knows if Scioli is Alberto's last move to
fight
Cristina. With Daniel it is guaranteed that there will be Primaries, something that many of us do not want."
Thus, as they analyze, Alberto
could be behind
Scioli's vehemence knowing that his candidacy hits twice: he questions Cristina's power since she did not choose him;
and at the same time he hurts Massa, due to the minister's old personal
rancor
with the former governor of Buenos Aires.
Others, on the other hand, point out that although the President initially pushed Scioli to run, "he
also did it with (Agustín) Rossi and several others
."
And they point out that now the ex-governor
cuts himself
and is drawing lines to agree with all the legs of the Front of All, including La Cámpora,
A couple of weeks ago, his photo with Mayra Mendoza in Quilmes surprised, with the coming of Máximo K. That image
would not have gone down well in the Casa Rosada
and
Using the excuse of his lack of commitment to his position as ambassador, they would have
forced
him to return to Brasilia "so that he can start working."
When Scioli says what he says about leaving Kirchnerism behind,
is he replicating
Alberto's words when he apparently said the same thing in an off with the militant and journalist Roberto Navarro?
"I am going to put an end to 20 years of Kirchnerism," the president would have used in a private chat with Navarro.
Confession that the same official communicator hastened to spread to anyone who wants to listen.
But not everyone agrees with those interpretations.
"Do you know how this salad ends? Cristina
lowers all
the candidates who have already run and then lets them kill each other for a long time and thus raise expectations. In short: she remains once again as a
great voter and sole owner
of Peronism " , opined another head of the GBA who is one of the most active in the clamor operation headed by Andrés "Cuervo" Larroque for her to be a candidate.
Cristina and, above all, Máximo Kirchner had pushed for Grabois's nomination when they were trying to get Alberto Fernández to decline his candidacy.
Now the picketer can be a problem if they finally bless Massa.
And Scioli?
Clarín
interrupts .
"Do you think Daniel can stand up to Cristina?
He can't resist
even a text message. He will be the first to get off, or you forget the contempt he ate when he was governor. I see (Juan) Grabois more handsome if he the chosen one ends up being Massa, whom he hates. That kid can end up being a problem. We warned Máximo about it", he assured.
Massa adds endorsements
Massa is still the mayors' candidate.
And now he added the support of the CGT, which the most daring thing he did so far was to issue a statement with some lost criticism and call for an act that they will do for Labor Day.
Of course, just
in case they invited Massa
in case any trade unionist thinks of raising any doubts about the economic direction of the Government.
"Even with economic results that
are worse
than the disaster that Martin Guzmán and Silvina Batakis left us together, we still hope that Sergio is a candidate, orders us and saves us," says the leader of a municipality of more than 500,000 inhabitants in the heart of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
But he is also ironic: "We appointed Máximo as head of the PJ and all he did was operate against Alberto, and now, against Kicillof. Even Cristina denies that he be a candidate because of the rejection he generates in the majority of our third-string voters.
Then we want something to work out for us
."
