Hanging game in Miesbach: Ironically, the company that would at least theoretically be able to help the project financially is also conducting a legal dispute against the district town in another matter.
Miesbach – It's not exactly an easy situation in which the town of Miesbach finds itself.
In view of the extremely tense budgetary situation, the renovation of the warm outdoor pool, which has been planned for years and should start this year, has to be postponed until further notice.
And of all companies, which would at least theoretically be able to help the project financially, is also conducting a legal dispute against the district town in another matter.
We are talking about Stadtwerke München (SWM).
As reported, Markus Seemüller (FWG) suggested in the city council to get in touch with Stadtwerke München.
The goal: somehow to win the financially strong utility company of the state capital as a sponsor.
What makes matters more difficult, however, is the dispute over the requested extension of the water protection zone, in which the municipalities in the district and the municipal utilities are on different sides.
"still scanning"
Nevertheless, there have been two meetings with representatives of the municipal utilities so far, as Miesbach's mayor Gerhard Braunmiller reports when asked by our newspaper.
However, there is not much to report, because the participants in the conversation had agreed not to disclose anything.
In addition, according to Braunmiller, there is still no concrete result.
"One is still palpating."
But the talks took place in a normal, good atmosphere.
A third meeting will follow soon.
Then it should be about how to tackle it and what should be made known.
