An Anas snowplough on the Via Flaminia in Umbria also went into action due to a strong hailstorm that affected between Terni and Spoleto and more precisely between the towns of San Carlo and Molinaccio.
Traffic was initially blocked in both directions.
Various Anas personnel were on site, together with the traffic police and firefighters.
Following the precipitation, the Flaminia was covered in the early afternoon by a white blanket, similar to snow but actually hail which reached a height of about ten centimeters in some points.

Violent rainfall in fact fell in the area of Casteltodino - San Gemini - Montecastrilli, but also in Valnerina and Valserra.
A heavy vehicle and others in difficulty were reported on secondary roads, between La Castagna, in Terni, and Molinaccio di Spoleto.
