Sofia Richie, a breathtaking bride in her three Chanel dresses

Lionel Richie's youngest daughter married music producer Elliot Grainge. A ceremony celebrated in the south of France with no less than three dresses, all signed Chanel.

They got engaged in April 2022. This weekend, Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge got married, at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, located at the extreme tip of Cap d'Antibes, halfway between Cannes and Nice.

It is with three dresses that the young woman of 24 years has chosen to say "yes" to the founder of the British music label.

Each one embodying a sure elegance and a discreet luxury, in the continuity of the sober style that Sofia Richie has been sporting for a few months.

Made to measure in the brand's workshops in Paris, the three dresses are signed Chanel.

A rhythmic style

The first outfit recalls the 1920s. It opened the ball of the festivities, the day before the wedding, on the occasion of a first dinner with the guests.

A white, long piece with a high collar, flared and transparent sleeves, and a bib sprinkled with pearls and fringes that required more than three months of work.

The second, worn during the exchange of vows, is inspired by a look from the fall-winter 2023 collection. On the back, it features an American neckline baring its shoulders with a set of laces that continues all along the bust.

If the train is impressive, its length is exceeded by that of the veil.

The tradition in the United States is to wear something blue, so inside the dress was sewn in azure thread the inscription "S&E", the initials of the bride and groom.

A nod, perhaps, to his sister Nicole Richie, who for her marriage to Joel Madden in 2011 had their names embroidered in the middle of the lace of her sleeve.

A dress for dancing

Finally, the last dress is undoubtedly the most fashionable.

Short, white and structured, it is inspired by the one Claudia Schiffer wore to close Chanel's spring show in 1993. On the bodice, a Camellia, the French brand's emblematic flower.

It was worked on for four months, and thought so that Sofia Richie could dance and have fun freely during the evening of her wedding.
